Vintage metal heart-shaped trinket box featuring a depiction of the U.S. Capitol building in Washington, D.C. The box is metal with a silver tone and has a hinged lid, adorned with colorful flowers and the text "U.S. CAPITOL WASHINGTON D.C." Interior is lined in a silky, pink fabric. Comes in original box with writing on the box from original owner.
Also comes with a gold tone '56 Washington D.C. capital lapel pin with chain.

This was my aunts when she went on her senior trip to Washington D.C. in 1956.

There is some spots of missing silver tone on sides of box (PLEASE REFER TO PICTURES FOR CONDITION). Overall this is in outstanding condition for its age.
