We did set it up once, and my daughter and her friend sat on it for maybe 5 min - that was all the use for us. It was sturdy enough to hold them both, but it’s just too small for bigger kids. Tie ropes may have some residue from the tree trunks. Hammock touched the ground, but has been washed.
